This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals (Two Sites). The post holder will take part in a full shift rota covering the Intensive Care/High Dependency unit, obstetrics, and anaesthetics at Barnet Hospital and covering theatres for elective daytime surgery at Chase Farm Hospital. The post will initially be for a term of 12 months, at which time it may be renewed for a further 12 months. During this time you will be treated as a trust trainee and will be mentored and supported for Final FRCA exams if required - however, please note the role is
not
a recognised training post. The post holder will take part in a full shift rota with a total of 31 London Deanery Trainees (15 ST 3+ and 16 CT1/2), other Trust Grades, and MTI trainees. The post holder will cover theatres, Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit, and Obstetrics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals; depending upon the training and experience of the candidate and the requirements of the Department. Applicants must have at least 18 months experience in the specialty of Anaesthesia at CT 1-2 level (or equivalent) including at least 6 months in the UK and must have GMC registration. Applicants would ideally have passed primary FRCA. About Us
