The Urgent Care Team provides a rapid response service to children and young people and families who are presenting with acute mental health or emotional disturbance to a degree where the risk they pose indicates that an inpatient admission may be required. You will offer mental health and risk assessment, formulation and brief intervention with those young people under 18 who are presenting with urgent mental health needs. The team operate between the hours of 08am-11pm over seven days with plans to develop 24 hour on-call cover (NHS Agenda for change pay enhancements apply.) About us
