Production Support Engineer . The role is a blend of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance. The plant has a wide range of process equipment, plant machinery and conveyor systems, along with a broad range of electrical systems, control systems and building facilities. The business is open to considering any background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Salary:

Telford - 100% onsite Duration:

perm/full-time This role is days only: 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 7-4 on a Friday. The ideal candidate:

Mechanical and Electrical experience in some capacity. Ideally worked with pneumatics or has a good understanding. Enthusiastic and proactive individual who prides themselves on their standards of work and reliability. Strong, keen, and positive problem solver with an analytical approach to making effective decisions with support from the production engineer. Professional manner with good communication skills. Flexible to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues. 18th Edition Electrical Qualification would be a benefit but not essential. Experience with any form of welding and metal work would be advantageous. Responsibilities and Duties:

Support the engineering/maintenance team and operation functions to provide maximum availability of plant machinery to produce high quantity and quality products. Carry out mechanical and electrical tasks as required and directed by the maintenance Lead. Day-to-day maintenance of volumetric filling machines, labellers, and associated packing equipment. Troubleshooting and fault finding. Perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventative types of maintenance on various areas of the plant. Installation of new equipment supported by the production engineer. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Support the production team when needed to manufacture products, which will include a variety of different tasks, including the use of forklifts and telehandlers at times. Essential skills:

Good understanding of mechanical/electrical equipment. Hands-on approach. Flexibility in your approach to work. Forklift or Telehandler driver license or keen to gain with training provided. Good teamworking attitude. Ability to work outdoors.
