Family Liaison Officer , you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between home and school. You will: Build lasting relationships

with families, acting as their key point of contact to ensure children receive the support they need. Collaborate closely

with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and external agencies to protect and support vulnerable children. Coordinate interventions

and attend Child in Need (CHiN), Child Protection, and Core Group meetings, ensuring effective communication and follow-up actions. Empower students

by addressing external challenges that may impact their learning, helping them to maximize their potential in the classroom. Promote excellent attendance

Family Liaison Officer , you’ll be at the heart of this mission, making a tangible impact on the lives of children and their families. You’ll join a collaborative and passionate team committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our students. The basis of this role is permanent working 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday), Term Time + 3 weeks of inset and offering an actual salary of £22,067 per annum (£24,404 full-time equivalent) based on experience. Leigh Academy Oaks is a small academy with approximately 190 pupils on roll and an additional 20 pupils in our Nursery. We are very proud of our school and the hard work and positive attitude of all our pupils and staff. Teaching and learning areas are both safe and well-maintained, providing a stimulating working environment for pupils. We are continually striving to improve our facilities in order to enrich the experiences of our pupils. The teachers and support staff form a very strong team and work closely with the Governing Body and Leigh Academies Trust to promote high standards throughout Leigh Academy Oaks. Parents provide invaluable voluntary support throughout the academy including a programme of fundraising activities throughout the year. The academy teaches a broad and balanced curriculum which is enriched by a wide range of extra-curricular activities. It is our aim to provide a happy, safe, and caring community, where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their goals. Being part of Leigh Academies Trust:

As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Currently, 14 of our academies are considered to be “Outstanding” which is nearly 50% of those which have been inspected whilst part of the Trust. The Trust is establishing three ‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT North; LAT West.
