We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will: Assist the Commercial Manager in overseeing/mentoring the Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QS’, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, whilst looking at the company objectives. Provide commercial leadership and guidance on projects to ensure cost-effective delivery within budget. Prepare and analyse cost reports, offering regular updates to the project team and stakeholders. Implement cost control and value management strategies. Prepare monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements. Oversee the commercial aspects of projects. Manage cash flow effectively. Handle subcontractor payments. Offer expertise on contractual issues. About the benefits and rewards:

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £60k DOE plus Car Allowance. In addition to the basic salary, there will be further company benefits. About the requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. * Good knowledge of building regulations (predominantly NHBC), technical knowledge, CDM & codes of practice e.g. HS. * GCSE Grade C/4+ in English & Maths. * Committed to teamwork. * Ability to work on own as well as part of a team. * Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines. * IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems. * Full UK driving licence.
