We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to our fit-out projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, maximise value, minimise project risk, and manage contract administration effectively. Additionally, this role involves internal reporting on costs and value. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates for projects at various stages, from concept to completion. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client. Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the best possible terms. Keep track of all costs related to the project and adjust as necessary to stay within budget. Identify and manage financial risks associated with the project. Prepare and present detailed reports on the financial status of the project to senior management. Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed. About you:

Advanced analytical skills to interpret and understand financial / cost information. Minimum five years of experience in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or similar. RICS or CIOB membership an advantage but not essential. Excellent knowledge of construction, specifically fit-out projects. Strong numeracy and financial management skills. Ability to negotiate and strong attention to detail. Prepared to have difficult conversations and stand their ground. About COEL:
