Being the first point of contact for patients who have been referred for an outpatient or diagnostic appointment, answering the phone or email in a friendly and supportive manner. Arrange appointments, ensuring patients and clinics have all the necessary information to ensure this appointment can be attended. Work with patients to accommodate their requirements and ease any concerns they may have. Work with the rest of the team to ensure all bookings are completed to agreed standards and all relevant information is saved to the correct systems. Deal with problems as they arise such as changing of appointments, lost paperwork, providing further information to clinics. To do this role, you should have: A friendly, caring attitude that enables all patients to have a high-quality experience. Flexible approach. Good organisation skills. Previous experience of working in a customer service role is desirable. Previous healthcare experience would be desirable. Full-time or part-time hours available.
