Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location - West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire (Hybrid - 3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join a Building Design Consultancy in West Yorkshire or North Yorkshire. They offer a broad range of services in Building Surveying, Civil & Structural, Highways and Drainage Engineering across many sectors including infrastructure, public buildings, industrial, education and housing.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Benefits:
Salary - up to 50,000 per annum

Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Role:
Support the team with the commercial management of the business, with multiple projects on site at any one time
Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle
Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts
Provide accurate measurement for Schedule of Works and produce Bills of Quantities
Build positive working relationships with clients, regularly attending site meetings
Provide assistance to other disciplines within the company as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
Local Authority/Public Sector Experience
Experience in the education, health, and housing sectors
Working knowledge of industry standard contracts, such as JCT and NEC
Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge
Experience in cost forecasting, reporting, cost control, risk management, procurement option advice, and contract administration
