Senior Quantity Surveyor Location - West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire (Hybrid - 3 days in the office / 2 days from home) A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join a Building Design Consultancy in West Yorkshire or North Yorkshire. They offer a broad range of services in Building Surveying, Civil & Structural, Highways and Drainage Engineering across many sectors including infrastructure, public buildings, industrial, education and housing. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Benefits: Salary - up to 50,000 per annum Permanent - Full Time Annual leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to purchase up to 10 additional days leave per year Pension scheme: up to 6% contribution Hybrid working to support you in a healthy work-life balance Ongoing professional development through varying project work A benefits scheme which includes a good maternity leave package, cycle2work scheme and an online voucher portal giving access to discounts from leading retailers to help you save on shopping, days out, or nights in Access to Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Counselling Service Flexible working system allowing team members to accrue 1.5 days flexi time per month Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Role: Support the team with the commercial management of the business, with multiple projects on site at any one time Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts Provide accurate measurement for Schedule of Works and produce Bills of Quantities Build positive working relationships with clients, regularly attending site meetings Provide assistance to other disciplines within the company as part of a multi-disciplinary team Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field Local Authority/Public Sector Experience Experience in the education, health, and housing sectors Working knowledge of industry standard contracts, such as JCT and NEC Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge Experience in cost forecasting, reporting, cost control, risk management, procurement option advice, and contract administration
