Senior Health Care Assistant – Long Lea Residential Home

Join our friendly and dedicated team as a Senior Care Assistant! We are seeking experienced individuals who can lead and support our care team in delivering exceptional personal care to the elderly. If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate others, and a passion for providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Lead the care team on duty, ensuring daily activities are carried out and all aspects of care are delivered to a high standard. Provide personal care and support to elderly residents, fostering meaningful relationships with them, their relatives, and other care staff. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively lead and coordinate the care team. Motivate and inspire the team, encouraging them to perform at their best and providing guidance and support when needed. Prioritise the well-being and comfort of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times. Requirements: Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant role is essential. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively leading and coordinating the care team. Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care. Willingness to undergo comprehensive training throughout the year, including mandatory courses and supplementary training as required. Completion of the Care Certificate is included in our induction program. Availability for a range of shift patterns, including part-time and full-time positions during the night.
