Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEND experience in the South Yorkshire area and looking for the next step in your career? We are working with a primary school in the Barnsley area that requires a teaching assistant in their Y4 class to support 1:1 with a child who has additional needs. This position is to start in September and will be required on an ongoing basis for the right candidate. We aim to match your Primary Teaching Assistant skills and support style with our amazing partner schools. Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum Experience of supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering specific intervention small group work Follow school policies and procedures with regards to safeguarding and behaviour Work with children of mixed abilities including SEND Ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students Show initiative and ask for direction if needed Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements: Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare) UK experience as a teaching assistant An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS Why Trust Education?
