We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join the Highfields Community Rehabilitation Unit. The main roles will be to assist the Night senior healthcare assistants & deputy managers of the Residential Rehabilitation Unit and Intermediate Care qualified nurses to deliver the prescribed care as indicated in the patient's care plan. To work alongside a team of health care assistants to ensure delivery of high-quality person-centered care by promoting best practice within the Intermediate Care Team. To assist the Night senior healthcare assistant & Deputy Managers of the Residential Rehabilitation unit in maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the home. The hours of working are 19:00pm to 07:00am. Main duties of the job

To enable the patient to enjoy a fulfilling quality of life based on their individual care and support plan. To respectfully provide a safe and caring environment that enhances the patient's life through support and encouragement. To ensure what is important to the patient and how best to support them is achieved through person-centered practice. About us

Qualifications

Level 2 qualification or equivalent level of experience in Adult Health and Social Care. Hold Care Certificate or willingness to complete within induction period. Knowledge

Knowledge of working in a health care environment. Good understanding of basic IT skills. Experience

Recent experience of working with patients in a healthcare, homecare, or care home setting. Experience of prioritising own workload. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
