Assistant Shop Manager, Timberhill (Norwich)

Are you looking for a part-time charity retail opportunity that promises to give you a sense of purpose and fun in a hard-working, values-driven and people-focused team? We are seeking a commercially aware Assistant Shop Manager for our Norwich Charity Shop and Bridal Boutique. As part of a small team, you will support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop, supervision of volunteers, and making the most of donated items, including a wide range of beautiful bridal gowns and wedding attire. Engaging with customers also includes cataloguing bridal gowns for online viewing, attending local wedding events, and helping people choose a bridal gown or outfit for their special day. About Big C As a local cancer charity, Big C is dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer in Norfolk and neighbouring counties while working with key partners in research and healthcare to improve future outcomes. Big C has raised over £40 million since the charity was founded in 1980; £20 million in the past seven years alone. On average, £3 million is raised each year by Big C’s loyal supporters. Income is also generated via our Big C charity shops across the region. There are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK. 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. Big C seeks and implements new approaches and projects to make sure that no one is missing out on the opportunity to access our support. About the role If you have experience in retail, are able to supervise a small team, and are looking to make a difference, this could be ideal for you. The working hours are
