Assistant Shop Manager, Timberhill (Norwich)
Are you looking for a part-time charity retail opportunity that promises to give you a sense of purpose and fun in a hard-working, values-driven and people-focused team? We are seeking a commercially aware Assistant Shop Manager for our Norwich Charity Shop and Bridal Boutique. As part of a small team, you will support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop, supervision of volunteers, and making the most of donated items, including a wide range of beautiful bridal gowns and wedding attire. Engaging with customers also includes cataloguing bridal gowns for online viewing, attending local wedding events, and helping people choose a bridal gown or outfit for their special day. About Big C As a local cancer charity, Big C is dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer in Norfolk and neighbouring counties while working with key partners in research and healthcare to improve future outcomes. Big C has raised over £40 million since the charity was founded in 1980; £20 million in the past seven years alone. On average, £3 million is raised each year by Big C’s loyal supporters. Income is also generated via our Big C charity shops across the region. There are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK. 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. Big C seeks and implements new approaches and projects to make sure that no one is missing out on the opportunity to access our support.
