About The Role Job Title: Operational Safeguarding Manager Contract: Permanent Location: Plough Lane Offices, Hereford Hours: 37 Salary: HC10 (£44,711 - £48,710) Closing date: 19th January 2025 Interview: 30th January 2025

The role To manage the work of the council’s adult safeguarding team, working collaboratively with operational services and other agencies to ensure a robust, timely and appropriate response to safeguarding concerns. Please note this job role is subject to job evaluation so grade/pay may increase. About You

You will have a sound knowledge of the Care Act and other relevant legislation You will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills You will have experience of conducting safeguarding enquiries You will have a good understanding of Making Safeguarding Personal Principles We Offer
