Inside IR35 Role Purpose This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Construction Project Management professionals to join the project management team, delivering new build and internal fit-out projects. You will play a vital role in managing key client accounts, contributing to a high-performing multi-disciplinary team, and overseeing the delivery of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day project delivery for funds, developers, and occupiers, as well as supporting larger projects. Oversee design teams for planning applications and statutory approvals. Administer building contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Compile tender documents, critically review tender returns, and manage contract negotiations. Develop project documentation, including fee schedules, programmes, risk schedules, and master budgets. Produce and present comprehensive client reports throughout project stages. Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery. Resolve contractual disputes and implement change management protocols. Actively participate in business development and cross-selling within the consultancy. Candidate Requirements Essential Skills & Experience Proven project management experience for new build commercial buildings and refurbishments, especially office projects. Familiarity with managing projects valued between £2m and £50m+. Excellent contract administration knowledge (10+ years preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships. Knowledge of legislation, including Health & Safety requirements. Qualifications Ideally MRICS or APM qualified, though not essential. Construction consultant PM background and experience working client-side. Preferred Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic. Familiarity with live environment project management is a plus. Work Environment Located on-site in Newcastle upon Tyne. No travel required outside the mentioned location.
