The role will involve: Ensuring the technical team has the right skills and resources, and recruiting new talent when needed. Overseeing the project design team to ensure they meet their goals. Ensuring the design meets the client's brief and complies with design standards. Identifying and addressing key risks on the project, such as statutory approvals. Managing the procurement of subcontractors, including responding to site queries and non-conformances. Keeping directors informed on the project's progress, risks, and key issues. Monitoring and controlling payments against the approved budget. Supporting junior staff and mentoring them to help them achieve their professional chartership. My client has a preference for candidates with experience working as a technical architect or an architectural technology degree, as well as industry-related experience.
