A prominent company in the electrical industry is looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing of critical components and systems. This pivotal role involves managing procurement operations, securing competitive pricing, and fostering efficient supplier relationships to support the organization's goals.

The Electrical Procurement Manager will lead the development and execution of procurement plans that align with project schedules and financial objectives. The individual will collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure material specifications are met while negotiating favorable agreements with suppliers. Responsibilities include overseeing supplier performance, analyzing market trends, managing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role is central to enhancing procurement efficiency and delivering value to the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in procurement, preferably within the electrical sector. A degree in electrical engineering, supply chain management, or a similar field is advantageous, though substantial supervisory experience will also be considered. Expertise in contract negotiations, supplier management, and market analysis is essential, alongside proficiency in procurement tools and Microsoft Office applications. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.

The company offers a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000, along with travel allowances, performance incentives, and additional benefits, including a company-matched retirement savings plan.
