Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader to oversee our care home operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, ensuring the highest standards of senior care are met. You will drive the implementation of care plans while fostering a supportive and efficient environment for both staff and residents. Your leadership skills will be crucial in enhancing team performance and promoting a culture of excellence in care. Responsibilities Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional service to residents. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure clarity in care delivery. Drive the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Conduct regular assessments of team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment. Facilitate training sessions for staff to improve their competencies in senior care practices. Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement within the care home operations. Maintain accurate records related to resident care and staff performance. Skills Proven leadership abilities, with experience in supervising teams within a care home setting. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse groups including staff, residents, and families. Knowledge of IT systems relevant to care management and documentation processes. Understanding of senior care principles, including the development of comprehensive care plans. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance service quality. Compassionate attitude towards elderly individuals, demonstrating empathy and respect at all times.
