£28,000-£30,000 per annum My client is a civil engineering company providing highways maintenance and ground engineering services within the South-West region, working on a variety of frameworks with high profile clients. They're looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in Bristol. Recent graduates with an interest in pursuing a career within construction are welcome to apply, but 1-2 years experience within the industry would be preferable. Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
Preparation of budgets Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Submission of payment applications Early Warning and Compensation Event Preparing bill of quantities Collaborate with internal departments to achieve project objectives Requirements of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
A degree within Quantity Surveying or related field. 1-2 years experience within the construction industry preferable. Experience/working knowledge of highways sector also preferable. Based in or able to commute to Bristol region. Willingness to learn and multi-task within a busy environment. Good team player skills and communication abilities. Full UK Drivers License. Graduate Quantity Surveyor Package:
A competitive salary of £28,000-£30,000 per annum. A good opportunity to get stuck into busy highways schemes. Autonomy within the role whilst also having a good support system. Training and development opportunities.
