Technical Manager - Air Conditioning Background Location: Newcastle Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a Technical Manager from an Air Conditioning background to lead and manage our air conditioning systems across various facilities in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for an expert to bring their technical knowledge and leadership abilities to the table, ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

What You'll Do:

Lead a Skilled Team:

Manage and guide a team of air conditioning engineers, ensuring they follow best practices for installation, maintenance, and repair. Oversee System Efficiency:

Ensure that all air conditioning and HVAC systems are regularly maintained, tested, and running efficiently. Drive Energy Efficiency:

Implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and lower operational costs while maintaining performance. Project Management:

Oversee air conditioning installation and upgrade projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Ensure Safety & Compliance:

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in refrigerant handling and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues:

Diagnose complex technical problems and lead the team in delivering long-term solutions.

What We're Looking For: Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in air conditioning, HVAC systems, and facilities management. Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, installation, maintenance, and repair. Leadership Skills:

Proven track record of managing and developing a team of technical staff. Qualifications:

HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (HVAC qualifications preferred). Problem-Solving:

Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently. Health & Safety Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in HVAC maintenance.
