This practice has been through a recent facelift and is situated in a busy shopping area and has strong footfall with a loyal customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a team of 45-50 which includes a patient focused support team and an organised management structure, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. For candidates with suitable experience, you can also take on supervisory responsibilities offering support and training where needed.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician As a qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice, you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting. As a member of the store's clinical team, you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician For your efforts, a competitive salary package dependent on your experience is on offer, along with a strong bonus scheme and additional benefits, such as fees paid, plus 5 weeks holiday.
