As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently, manage their mental health, and achieve their personal goals. Working closely with a team of healthcare professionals, you will provide practical and emotional support, promote recovery, and assist with day-to-day activities tailored to each person's needs. Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centered support:

Empower individuals to manage their mental health, build resilience, and develop self-care routines. Assist with daily activities:

Support with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, medication management, budgeting, and attending appointments. Promote social inclusion:

Facilitate community involvement and social opportunities to reduce isolation and build meaningful connections. Collaborate with healthcare professionals:

Work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other support staff to create and implement care plans. Documentation and reporting:

Maintain accurate records, write progress notes, and report concerns or changes in an individual's mental health condition. About You

We’re looking for compassionate, empathetic individuals with a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing. You don’t need prior experience in the field—just the motivation to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to making a difference. Essential Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team We are looking at Part-time hours and will try to accommodate part-time requests in line with the requirements of the service.
