Care Worker

Full Time Main Duties
Providing care to clients in their own homes. Assisting service users to get up, bathe, dress, and prepare for their day. Serving meals to service users at the table or in bed, and assisting with feeding as required. Attending to the personal needs and comforts of the elderly and infirm with care and support needs. Undertaking light cleaning and domestic duties, including meal preparation as required. Assisting service users with their environment and day-to-day activities. Monitoring blood pressure, taking temperature, pulse, and other physical conditions as required. Making recommendations for changes and improvements to a service user’s care. Assisting service users in accordance with their care plans. Liaising with other healthcare professionals such as District Nurses as required. Maintaining confidential client files and preparing reports & information as required. Assisting with prescribed medication. Moving and handling clients. Bathing clients and preparing meals. Cleaning rooms and linens. Qualifications
Have a driving licence. Be willing to relocate to Suffolk. Experience in helping others or caring for the sick and/or injured. Studying or wanting to study towards a Level 2 Certificate. Good communicator, organized, and adaptable. Ability to problem solve and seek the best possible solutions while remaining polite and respectful. Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently. Required Documents
