Evergood Primary care team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Ward Pharmacist to join our team for a contract in the North West of England. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, for a minimum duration of three months. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting medication reviews and providing clinical pharmacy services to the ward. Ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. Advising medical and nursing staff on the selection and appropriate use of medications. Monitoring patient medication regimens and making necessary adjustments. Educating patients and their families about medications and their proper use.
Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous experience in a hospital setting, preferably at Band 7 level. Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
