Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing homes, hospice care, or assisted living environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and companionship. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs. Requirements Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, hospice care, or assisted living is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid and basic life support principles is advantageous. Ability to drive and transport clients as needed. Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Capability to perform medication administration competently. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Must be able to pass background checks as required by the organisation.
