We are looking for dynamic staff to join our family and support our new and exciting adventure and to change children’s lives for the better. Pay Rate:

£11.50 P/H, between £23,000-£27,000 depending on how many completed sleepovers throughout the month. Our homes are registered for either two or three young people, catering for EBD. You will be part of a dedicated team of staff, who are child-centred in their approach and values-led in their practice. You will work closely with external professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to build a comprehensive programme of care for our children and ensure that they are happy, safe, and stimulated. We offer full training and pride ourselves upon internal progression and promotions, with all of our new staff being automatically enrolled onto their Level 3 Diploma after 6 months working for Rise Above Care. We understand that training is so important, and we will always invest in you if you’re willing and want to learn. Hours: This is a permanent, employed position consisting of an average of 155-165 hours per month on a rota basis. You will be required to do Sleep Ins which will be paid at £50.00 per night. Duties & Skills: Do you have what it takes to encourage and help our children to live independently and guide and teach them with your own life experiences? To do this, we believe you will need empathy, compassion, resilience, and positive parenting skills. The skills we expect our staff to have: 12 months experience in a relevant environment or with young people (preferred) The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred) Some knowledge of working with behavioural and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviour Resilience and passion, even through challenging times A flexible approach to working A full, clean UK driving license (preferred) A passion for working with children A good team player Excellent communication skills Hardworking Resilience Benefits: Casual dress Company pension Extra one day of paid annual leave if no sickness within a year period 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Employee assistance programme - includes free confidential counseling and 24-hour on-call service all delivered by independent confidential professionals.
