About the Service We offer rehabilitation and care to people with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Main Purpose of the Role As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred rehabilitation programmes within a multidisciplinary team. You will take responsibility for ensuring continuity and consistency in the physical management of service users and will demonstrate senior-level clinical, technical, and research skills through your breadth and depth of knowledge.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to optimise their independence and physical function Formulate individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans using analytical and investigative skills Promote choice and ensure the service user’s experience is positive, encouraging them to raise concerns or complaints Liaise and collaborate with other health and social care professionals in the planning and delivery of care Prescribe, provide, and maintain appropriate equipment within available resources Maintain up-to-date written and electronic records in accordance with professional standards, ensuring sensitive information is stored securely Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision Share knowledge and expertise through formal and informal teaching Lead on the localised training plan to ensure staff are equipped to provide physiotherapy interventions Maintain a safe working environment and ensure service user confidentiality is upheld Occasionally undertake reasonable additional tasks as required

About You

Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Current membership with a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPOPC), or willingness to join Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) Experience working in a relevant setting Demonstrable experience in using evidence-based practice and outcome measures Skilled in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with the ability to use complex clinical reasoning
