The Role: In general, working in a care home kitchen means

being part of a small team preparing and serving meals to the residents of the home . You need to be aware of good nutrition and be able to cater to special dietary requirements, which are more common among the older community. Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals to residents. Cater to special dietary requirements. Cook for 30+ people in one sitting. Cook from fresh produce and English-style dishes. Cook on the spot if a patient doesn't like what is offered. Work with 1 or 2 kitchen assistants. Bake cakes and pastries. Minimum Requirements:

12+ months experience as head chef. Chef certifications or years of experience cooking English-based food and running a kitchen. Comfortable with IDDSI training (training will be provided). Have some experience working in a catering environment. Willing to work within an agency. Can start within 2 weeks. Available to work from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
