We have an opportunity for a Sonographer to join our team of staff in the Imaging department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis. You will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during annual leave or absence. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Current HCPC Registration Minimum 2 years Ultrasound experience within the NHS Experience in performing/reporting the following sonographic examinations: Abdominal, Renal, Gynaecology (Transvaginal, Transabdominal) Experience in Gynae required Duties of this role include: Actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing a consistent, high-quality ultrasound service to all patients. Carry out diagnostic ultrasound scans within your scope of competence as agreed with the Clinical Services Manager - Imaging / Clinical Lead to high technical and quality standards. Manage the designated working area and ensure that it is tidy, clean, and efficiently run. Use initiative to prioritise, deliver, and time-manage workload effectively. Assist clinical modality leads to plan and maintain an effective workflow within the department as requested.
