McKeevers Chemists is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Armagh!
Position:
Full-Time (40hrs per week) Pharmacy Assistant Location:

What You'll Do: Greet, serve, and offer correct advice to customers in a polite and friendly manner. Operate tills and handle sale transactions accurately and follow through in all end of day transactions. Actively sell products and meet targets using appropriate selling techniques and merchandising. Maintain displays and re-stock shelves when necessary. Order stock, unpack deliveries, and check dispatch notes, reporting shorts. Operate stock control to include the ordering and rotation of goods. Inform customers on all health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments, and services offered by the Pharmacy. Promote new and current product ranges using appropriate selling techniques. Merchandise products and ensure general upkeep of the shop floor. Communicate with and work effectively alongside other staff members. Accept prescriptions for filing, gathering, and processing labels using IT systems. Label and dispense prescriptions to patients in accordance with correct operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner. Issue prepared prescriptions to patients. Maintain accurate records of all transactions. Ensure that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintain temperature control record/log book. Take telephone enquiries and refer callers to the pharmacist when necessary. Deal with customer complaints effectively. Keep the shop and staff areas clean and tidy whilst maintaining a safe working environment. Other duties as required. What We're Looking For: Enthusiastic individuals passionate about healthcare. Fully flexible Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. Quick learners with strong attention to detail.
