Camphill School in Aberdeen wishes to announce a new vacancy for Eurythmy Therapist, supporting children and young adults with diverse to complex needs. Our present eurythmy therapist is planning semi-retirement and is looking for a colleague to share the work. There is a great deal of flexibility around choosing aspects of the workload which would suit your capabilities and experience. You will be supported in getting to know the working environment and the individuals benefiting from eurythmy therapy. You will be integrated into our team of therapists. We currently have Therapeutic Speech, Rhythmic Massage Therapy, Art Therapy, Therapeutic Music, Play Therapy and Equine Therapy. The work includes individual therapy sessions and group sessions (colour/shadow, a programme of Speech & Eurythmy combined, and working with care staff and students in small groups). Our opportunity would suit a candidate with the following: A qualification in Eurythmy Therapy. Some experience or an interest in working with people with additional support needs such as ASD, Downs’ Syndrome, ADHD, neurodiversity and other learning and behavioural challenges. An interest in working as part of a team of therapists, most of whom base their work on anthroposophical medical and therapeutic insights and who are supported by the school doctor.
