We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded and reputable global company as a Laboratory Technician where you will be joining their team on a temporary basis! This is a 3-month contract which covers a sabbatical leave period, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic laboratory environment. The successful candidate will carry out analytical testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure the quality of our product range.
Your day-to-day duties: Conduct analytical testing on raw materials and finished products. Maintain and control the quality of the product range. Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately updated. Guarantee compliance with internal and external audit requirements. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the lab. Assist in the preparation of samples, reagents, and solutions. Collaborate with the team to support ongoing research and projects. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise in the lab.
What we're looking for: We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a laboratory setting, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be proficient in using laboratory equipment and software. Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a laboratory environment is also required. A degree in a scientific discipline or related field is desired, as well as experience in a specific area of research or testing pertinent to the lab's focus.
