GBP13,500 - GBP15,750 per annum Our client is a Surrey based charity providing emotional wellbeing and mental health support through solutions focused interventions to children and young people. They are looking to recruit four Children and Young Persons Practitioner s. The charity has three bases in Redhill, Tadworth and Guildford. They are a charitable organisation which aims to improve the lives of children, young people and their families. Since 1997 they have offered 1:1 and group support for a range of emotional needs including low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, relationships, bereavement, bullying and neurodevelopmental needs. Their methodology is solution focused, and their approach is to encourage children and young people to recognise and build on their existing strengths. Since April 2021, our client has been delivering a range of emotional and wellbeing services to children, young people and families. This role is predominantly based in Redhill but requires flexibility to travel to their Guildford and Tadworth centres. They do also work out of schools and community centres. In this role you will work closely with our client s partners. The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own caseload of children, young people and families, some with complex and multiple needs. They will assess the needs and strengths of the referred young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change. Maintaining the close involvement of families and schools is an important feature of the role. The role may also include delivering workshops to parents and professionals.
