Due to a planned retirement in March 2025, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse at Old Irvine Road Surgery in Kilmarnock.
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced General Practice Nurse working approximately 5-6 sessions (18-21 hours) per week. The successful applicant would be joining a friendly and forward-thinking team, offering a competitive salary with flexible working days.
Duties would include:
Cervical screening
Removal of IUCD
Respiratory monitoring – Asthma, COPD
Diabetes Reviews
Diabetes Counselling
Face to face contraception and HRT reviews
We are an experienced and supportive Practice with a long history of undergraduate teaching. The team includes 6 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 ANP’s, and a CTAC nursing team of 1 Nurse and 1 HCSW. In addition, we have a knowledgeable and committed multi-disciplinary team.
We operate from 2 purpose-built sites and have a list size of 8800 patients. The Practice operates with EMIS PCS and Docman Management.
