Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Harefield £50,000 - £60,000 Permanent, Hybrid Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge? A water-sector leading solutions provider is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial team. Reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of key projects, ensuring success through effective cost control and collaboration. The Senior Quantity Surveyor role is based from Maple Lodge on a permanent staff basis with hybrid working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Senior Quantity Surveyor Manage quantity surveying duties for projects and work packages. Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to analyse and control costs. Collaborate with clients to ensure business requirements are met. Manage main contracts, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are handled. Prepare and issue subcontract documentation and oversee subcontractor performance. Prepare and agree applications for payment and deliver project cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts. Support and mentor junior commercial staff to drive team development. Stay current on industry innovations through networking, conferences, and continuous professional development. Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach and uphold professional standards internally and externally. Ensure confidentiality and manage relationships positively and constructively. Key Requirements: Senior Quantity Surveyor Experience in infrastructure projects. Degree (or equivalent qualification) in quantity surveying. Working towards or holding chartered membership of a recognised institution. Experience with NEC3 or IChemE contracts. Proven experience managing and developing individuals or small teams.
