We’re delighted to be supporting a global insurer who are seeking a Delegated Underwriting Authority Specialist to join their newly created team in a key growth area for the company.
This is a newly established and pivotal position reporting to the Head of Delegated Authorities. As a DUA Specialist, you’ll work across multiple teams and business units and engage with a wide range of internal business partners at all levels requiring exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
The primary focus of your role will be Lloyd's delegated agreements; however, there will also be exposure to company market binders where you’ll collaborate with the wider team on large strategic and complex deals.
You'll oversee all aspects of governance related to writing delegated business, including onboarding and managing these relationships throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to processes, governance standards, and risk management protocols.
Experience and Skills Needed:
Experience managing and overseeing delegated agreements written both internationally and through the Lloyd’s market and their regulatory requirements. Experience in collating data and preparing reports for regulatory attestations and declarations in line with UK and international standards. Be commercially minded and have a focus on business enablement.
