Job Description

Quest Search and Selection is partnering with this premium, fashion & lifestyle global retailer within the outlet. This Director role will ensure the continuity of the commercial success and impeccable service levels whilst maintaining the strategic standards and operational procedures in order to achieve company goals within this high volume, global flagship store. Key responsibilities of this Flagship Store Manager/Director – Lead the local business strategy for the store. Actively engage with store teams during visits, coaching, and motivating them on the shop floor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Lead the Operation, Bank-of-house, Customer facing and VM teams in store. Define daily objectives and actions to drive KPIs, develop monthly plans based on productivity targets. Ensure excellent store administration, manage inventory and day-to-day operations. Drive employee wellbeing and engagement with regular 1-to-1’s. Lead by example and coach your team to deliver an excellent customer experience. Conduct regular 1-to-1’s for coaching and being proactive with your team. Regularly assess employee engagement levels using feedback from engagement surveys, create actionable plans, review store progress, and conduct follow-up visits. Collaborate with the Retail Director to proactively develop regional action plans, focusing on performance improvement, commerciality, operational optimisation, talent retention, and product training. Ensure store budgets and expenses align with targets. Have a strategic overview of your area regarding the plan of the year and how to drive growth. To be successful in your application for this Flagship Store Manager/Director position: Prior relevant 3 years + Store Manager, Senior Store Management, Cluster Manager or Store Director experience within a customer facing retail environment. Experience leading a management team to service a £multi-million store (ideally in fashion, mixed goods or beauty). Ideally have turnover experience between £5-10 million in a leadership capacity. Strong operational and customer facing experience. Experience in sharing knowledge to drive behavioural change and develop others. Decision making and problem-solving skills. Outlet or out-of-town retail park experience is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal, written, and IT communication abilities. Results-driven and detail-oriented.
