The following is essential criteria: Degree in Social Work SWE Registration Right to work within the UK Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children with Disabilities social worker to support our CWD service as we grow and develop in 2025. We have secured investment while we undertake a strategic review of the service to meet the growing needs of children and families in Stockport. As part of this investment, we have two experienced CWD Team Leaders joining the service in January 2025 to manage both qualified and unqualified staff focused on getting the best outcomes for children and young people. You will have knowledge and experience of working with children with disabilities and their families, completing statutory assessments of need, including parent carer assessments, assessment of eligibility for short breaks, and mental capacity. You will have experience and understanding of all aspects of statutory social work, including experience in safeguarding and court work. Must be able to drive and have access to a car for work.
