Do you want to join a strong performing fostering service, proud to support local vulnerable children to live with local foster carers? Fostering North Yorkshire is committed to developing excellent practice, comprised of two large teams across North Yorkshire providing supervision and support to our approved foster carers. Are you a qualified Social Worker or awaiting Registration with Social Work England? You should understand fostering and the impact of childhood adverse trauma. You will need to be committed to seeking excellent outcomes for children through building productive working relationships with a wide range of services to support our fostering families. This role will predominantly focus on the assessments of potential foster carers, including unrelated foster carers and our family friends foster carers. Responsibilities

Conduct assessments of potential foster carers. Develop foster carers in meeting children’s needs. Deliver high quality foster care in line with the National Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards. Familiarize yourself with the assessment process for foster carers and the standards that need to be met. What We Offer
