Job Purpose To provide flexible support for teenage boy with health issues.
Location Kings Lynn, PE30
Job Details I would like to employ a Personal Assistant for my 13-year-old son who has various health issues, including ADHD and Autism. He loves to go out, but due to his limited mobility, he is unable to walk any distance and would need to use his wheelchair. However, he loves going shopping, to the cinema, and swimming. His PA needs to be attentive as he has little sense of danger, and he will require some personal care as he is mainly dry but does use continence pads and can have accidents.
Required Characteristics
Flexible and reliable
Experience with young people
Knowledge/experience with Autism
Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage
Summary Terms and Conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour.
Hours of work: Up to 3 hrs weekly. Flexible, mainly weekends/holidays.
5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays.

A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
