Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a long-standing regional civil engineering principal contractor based in Wakefield.
They're looking to add a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team for their civils arm. They are a Tier 1 company with a large turnover of over £300 million per year and are currently investing in a growth period for their civils arm. They are mainly focused on groundworks and project values range between £2 and £20 million.
Please note: this role is based between office, home & site. Will be largely down to this person to plan their workload to achieve the deliverables of the role.
Duties:
CVR's & cost reports Provide advice & guidance to commercial team Commercially manage projects at all stages Sub-contractor procurement Identify & input into value engineering Early warnings, contract changes, compensation events Project forecasts Agree final accounts Site visits to record information
Experience Required: Must have experience working as Senior Quantity Surveyor for a Civil Engineering or Groundworks contractor Must have experience with NEC contracts, NEC3 or NEC4 Must have relevant vocational qualification or degree Must have CSCS card
Remuneration: On offer is a salary of up to £65,000 (doe) plus generous package: Car or allowance, annual bonus, pension, 25 days annual leave + stat, fuel and more...
