The role will develop and deliver Sovereign Network Group's (SNG) Strategy in relation to all building safety undertakings, ensuring that SNG is compliant with all current and future legislative and regulatory requirements relating to investigation and remediation of high-rise building portfolio. The successful applicant will lead the Building Safety Remediation team in delivering a proactive, competent, and accessible function for SNG ensuring that suitable strategies, policies, procedures, data sources and resources are available and maintained. Key Accountabilities

Leading on all strategic and operational elements of building safety remediation across SNG's high-rise residential asset portfolio. Responsibility for the development of the brief for design, building pathology and fire engineering investigations on existing high-rise buildings and to procure consultants to carry out the investigations. Ensuring that the executive board and the Asset Safety and Compliance Director has full sight of all current and emerging risks. Responsibility for the development of ‘expert witness' reports to support legal or other proceedings against third parties. Responsibility for the development and delivery of building safety strategy, operational plans, policies, processes and procedures. What We're Looking For

Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety or working towards and membership of IFE (grades 3-5 or equivalent), or willingness to work towards. Understanding of data breaches, associated implications, and industry standards of preventing/triaging a breach. Track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment. Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary Building Safety Remediation team in a large and complex Housing Association. Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a social housing environment.
