An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Crime and Intelligence team, for a one year contract as a Strategic Intelligence Analyst. The purpose of this role is to produce the Force Strategic Assessment, Control Strategy and Intelligence requirement and other supporting strategic analytical products. The analysis will identify internal and external threats affecting TVP to help inform senior decision makers, direct resource allocation and assist prioritisation in respect of crime, disorder and vulnerability. You will be responsible for producing and preparing annual Strategic Assessment incorporating Crime and Intelligence Data, MoRiLE scoring, environmental scanning and PESTELO issues to inform the annual strategic planning cycle, including the development of the Control Strategy, Intelligence Requirement, strategic vision and organisational priorities. Through collaborative and supportive working relationships with Crime, Intelligence, PVP, Local policing, Service Improvement, and Corporate Governance, you will produce strategic analysis to inform senior managers and corporate decision-making. This role is based in Kidlington, but will require travel across the force, and external partners for liaison. This role is hybrid with two days per week in the office.
