Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a flexible basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients in care homes, hospitals, and other healthcare environments. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of nursing care to clients, adhering to care plans and best practices.

Assess, monitor, and record patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes in health status.

Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with care plans and physician instructions.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, care assistants, and therapists, to provide holistic care.

Educate and support patients and their families, providing information on treatment plans and ongoing care.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and infection control protocols.

Participate in the development and review of care plans, making necessary adjustments based on patient needs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff and support workers as needed.

Attend training sessions and keep up-to-date with nursing best practices and healthcare advancements.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a care home, hospital, or community setting.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Clinical Skills: Proficient in a range of nursing procedures and practices, including medication administration and patient assessments.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compassion: A caring and empathetic approach to patient care, with a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in different healthcare settings and with diverse patient populations.

Compliance: Up-to-date with mandatory training, including safeguarding, infection control, and first aid.
