HR Manager Pathway to HR Director Antrim VANRATH is pleased to be partnering with a market leading manufacturer based in Antrim, as they seek to appoint a HR Manager. This role will have a clearly defined pathway to becoming the Group HR Director and overall responsibility for the transformation of HR, and will involve driving strategic interventions in areas such as workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement, as well as managing day to day HR operations, including recruitment and employee relations. This is a very exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class HR function for a market leading business with lots of opportunity for personal growth and development. What you will be doing Acting as a HR partner and strategic advisor to the senior leadership team, ensuring that they have the appropriate advice and support to deliver the people agenda; Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals. It is expected that key projects to be delivered will include: Managing the group's end to end recruitment and selection process, ensuring both legal compliance and flexibility of approach in order to deliver optimal hiring outcomes whilst effectively managing cost; Ensuring legal compliance at all points throughout the employee life cycle in a multi-jurisdiction environment; Providing day to day guidance, support and advisory services to line managers regarding all employment relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management; Reviewing and updating policies and procedures and employee handbooks in line with current legislation, and best practice; Coaching and mentoring managers to upskill them and help develop their full leadership potential; Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees. The Person CIPD Qualified Experience of working in a HR leadership role within in a commercial environment Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, with the proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering strategic HR interventions including implementation of performance management systems, and employee learning and development programmes Must be fully conversant with all aspects of current employment legislation The Package You will receive a highly competitive salary, private medical and condensed 4.5 day working week.
