Our Payroll Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a Payroll role where they have gained knowledge and experience of running end to end payroll processes and managing a portfolio of clients. The Role As a Senior Payroll Administrator with XPS you will: Manage and run end to end payroll Take responsibility for the completion of payroll processes relating to data entry tasks and activities which are allocated whilst working effectively in a team. Gather data and information from a variety of sources, and carry out a range of data entry and basic analysis activities. Carry out standard and non-standard payroll tasks and activities autonomously in a timely manner Communicate clearly with Pension Administration team members, including routine interactions regarding payroll and pensioner queries. Provide support for senior colleagues regarding ongoing payroll projects and specific business development activities. Support the team with new staff members and provide training to less experienced team members, checking and validating their work to ensure accuracy. Identify errors and escalate issues where appropriate. Be proactive and take on personal responsibility and ownership for completion of tasks. Be a team player, a role model for all colleagues and own your personal development to enable you to make an increasing contribution to the firm. Your profile Essential Criteria Previous experience in running end to end payroll processing a portfolio of clients or large volume. Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification - minimum grade C or level 4. Experience of dealing with high volumes of work. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage workload effectively and independently. Communicate effectively to stakeholders and clients. CIPP qualified desirable, not essential. We welcome those qualified by experience.
