Our client is recognised by the legal 500 and is ranked in the 2023 UK Edition. This role is offered on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday in the Newcastle office. We are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join the team. The role has a salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. In the role you will: Manage and complete a caseload of sales, purchases and remortgages. Liaise with existing referral partners and nurture new and existing relationships. Verify client IDs. Draft and approve contracts, and raise relevant enquiries. Deal with enquiries raised. Report to clients on title, searches and mortgage. Bring a file to conclusion. About you: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential conveyancing environment. IT literate in MS Office. Experience in working with a case management system, Land Registry Portal. Experience with Help to Buy ISA, LMS and Lender exchange portals. Experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfer of equity cases. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize. Ability to work precisely and effectively under pressure. Excellent client care skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a busy team. Team player with a positive, enthusiastic, conscientious and pro-active approach. Ability to cope with conflicting demands and meet deadlines. Communicates effectively at all levels, both verbally and written. Ability to demonstrate behaviour in keeping with the firm’s core values.
