Are you an experienced Paralegal in the Housing sector looking for your next challenge? This new role offers the chance to work on impactful social housing projects, specialising in affordable housing acquisitions and disposals, property transactions, and complex volume disposals. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic team, collaborating with Partners and other fee earners to deliver private and social housing developments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of non-contentious property matters under Partner supervision. Assisting the team with larger transactions, including site acquisitions, developments, and disposals for private and social housing developers. Conducting due diligence, requisition searches, and report on results. Obtaining title information and indemnity insurance. Drafting documentation, reports, and contracts. Liaising with Plans Technicians on Title Overlay Plans and mapping issues. Responding to client and third-party queries, ensuring timely follow-up. Preparing engrossments of legal documents for execution. Preparing matters for exchange and completion, requesting funds from key clients. Handling post-completion formalities, including Land Registry applications and SDLT returns. Maintaining case management systems and client records. Collating Update Reports as requested by key clients. Contributing to business development activities to expand the client base and enhance the firm's profile.

The successful candidate will: Be organised with strong attention to detail. Have previous experience working with private and/or social housing developers. Have the ability to work to challenging timescales and plan effectively. Have excellent communication skills and sound judgement. Be skilled in establishing rapport and relationships. Be pro-active, enthusiastic, and committed.
