Teaching - Tertiary (Education & Training) Government (Government & Defence) Work for a progressive world-class tertiary education provider Exciting role in Tertiary Education Opportunity to teach in the Bachelor of Medical Imaging (BMI) programme This role will involve taking a clinical lead role within the CDHB with opportunities for teaching in the Bachelor of Medical Imaging (BMI) programme at the Manawa campus. The successful applicant will work with a team of staff who are experienced clinicians and educators. You are expected to be a qualified MIT with current registration and recent experience in general diagnostic radiography. Minimum Requirements:

Current New Zealand Scope of Practice Medical Imaging Technologist Current industry/discipline knowledge Knowledge of Te Whatu Ora processes and protocols A broad range of clinical skills Vision, innovation, and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning Flexibility to work in a range of theoretical and clinical courses Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes Digital literacy including competence using a computer (including Microsoft Office products) Effective communication with a diverse range of others, at all levels within and outside the organisation Passionate about medical imaging and the opportunities to improve practice or give back to the health sector through education Ara Institute of Canterbury, a business division of Te Pūkenga (Ara), is a vibrant and progressive tertiary institute providing world-class, tertiary-level education throughout the Canterbury and Waitaki region.
