Senior Radiographer (Multi-Modality) | Sevenoaks Medical Centre, Sevenoaks Full Time Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | Competitive Salary Are you an experienced Radiographer who is looking to develop their career and lead a team, ensuring consistent high standards and delivery of excellent customer and patient care? At KIMS Hospital, in our Sevenoaks Medical Centre, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiographer who is patient focussed and is able to demonstrate their experience working across different modalities, ensuring a high standard of service is provided to patients and consultants. You will be working on rotation in a range of complex and diverse modalities including General, CT and MRI ensuring that competencies are maintained and developed. Role Responsibilities include: Undertake CT, MR, general x-ray and support the mammography and ultrasound clinics as required Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justification of referrals Implement operational policies, processes and guidelines as the business develops. Engage successfully with medical professionals, consultants and GP’s, partnering with them to provide mutual growth and innovation opportunities. Ensure equipment remains safe and fit for purpose through observance of maintenance service arrangements and plant failure procedures. Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, IRMER & IRR17, MHRA and all other such relevant regulations and guidelines as appropriate to the delivery of independent sector imaging services. Acting as an operator under the IRMER Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justifications of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk Actively encouraging collaborative working relationships with the administration teams to ensure radiology reports are processed quickly and efficiently. Person Specification: Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic) with a valid HCPC registration Knowledge of diagnostic imaging, MRI, CT, US, X-ray Mammography, Nuclear Medicine. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be absolutely patient focused with a drive to offering the highest standard of patient care at all times Extensive post-registration clinical experience (min.3 years) Evidence of continuous professional development.
