About the School This school is part of a dynamic academy group, and they are on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team in Smallfield, Surrey. The school is dedicated to supporting children aged 6-11 years, who experience communication challenges often linked to Asperger's Syndrome and Autism.

Their close collaboration with another nearby school means that while each site operates independently with its own Assistant Head, teachers, and TAs, they share the same Principal and Head of School. The presence of a full therapy team at both sites ensures robust support for both students and staff, with opportunities for cross-site engagement.

Why Join This School? * You're driven by a desire to positively impact the lives of children and their families. * You're eager to bring your creativity and enthusiasm to the diverse curriculum. * You're inspired by working with a diverse and exceptional student body. * You thrive in a team-oriented environment and enjoy collaborating with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team. * You value well-being and are looking for a school that prioritises the welfare of both students and staff. * You're seeking an organisation that is committed to your professional growth and development.

Your Role: * Build nurturing and positive relationships with the pupils, ensuring they feel secure, happy, and ready to learn. * Foster independence and encourage personal growth among the students. * Provide essential support to the Class Teacher in managing classroom activities. * Stay adaptable to the evolving needs of the school, ensuring smooth operations. This may include occasional physical interventions, for which full training will be provided. * Promote the cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual development of the children in your care.

What They're Looking For: * GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) is a must. * Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is a plus, but not essential. * Experience working in a special school environment is highly desirable. * Team TEACH Training is beneficial.

What's On Offer: * Life assurance * Enhanced pension scheme (effective from October) * GBP1,000 Welcome Bonus, split into two instalments: 50% after passing probation and 50% after one year of service * Perkbox - providing discounts on high street brands * Employee assistance program * Car lease scheme * Fully funded training and qualifications * Bike to work scheme * Free membership to the Health cash back plan, which includes reimbursement for dental, optical, physio, and more.
